Eating well

To celebrate love, there's nothing like a good dinner for two. Among our favourite restaurants, we have selected three addresses. First, the restaurant Le Clairefontaine, located in the centre of the capital, in the upper town. Arnaud and Edwige Magnier's "Le Clairefontaine" is one of Luxembourg's gastronomic institutions. As soon as you walk through the door, after having crossed the terrace which awaits the fine weather, you are invited to a beautiful gustatory and sensory stroll. The attentive wait staff will guide you to the main room or the two pleasantly bright lounges", as you can read on the Facebook page.

Also in the centre, we recommend the Bazaar, a Lebanese restaurant. In addition to tasting good oriental dishes, the decor is romantic and warm.

Our third favourite is "El Barrio" on the Kirchberg plateau. In this tapas bar you will find all the pleasures of Spanish cuisine. All this in an atmosphere that takes you back to the Roaring Twenties. It's nice and cosy.

Sleep well

After a good meal, you'll probably want to get a good night's sleep. We strongly recommend that you book a room at the Château d'Urspelt. Everything is done to make your stay as romantic as possible. Whether you enjoy a good meal, a luxurious room or a treatment in the spa, you are sure to have a wonderful time.

In the city centre, we recommend the Hotel de la Place d'Armes. Book one of the 28 luxurious rooms and suites of the hotel and enjoy its beautiful location. The Place d'Armes is a member of Relais & Châteaux since 2012. The Place d'Armes also features three restaurants.

What could be more romantic than a moment of relaxation? Massage, treatment, sauna or Hammam, these moments of well-being are beneficial for couples. Earlier, we mentioned the spa at Urspelt Castle.

Enjoy culture and heritage

For culture and heritage lovers, we have selected two museums. First of all, the Mudam, the Luxembourg Museum of Contemporary Art, located on the Kirchberg plateau. Here you will find the most important collection of contemporary art in Luxembourg.

We also recommend the MNHA, the National Museum of History and Art. It is dedicated to the presentation of works of art and objects from all periods of Luxembourg's history.

Reconnecting with nature

For nature lovers, there is no shortage of activities. Our green country is full of beautiful landscapes and beautiful walks.

A beautiful walk in the Grund district comes to mind. A walk in the Mullerthal region or to the castle of Vianden. The city of Luxembourg offers more classic views from all four corners of the capital. For example: the Pfaffenthal panoramic lift. Wouldn't you like a little kiss up there?

And if you don't have a Valentine? Who cares? You can spend time with yourself and enjoy these activities on your own. You don't need two people to enjoy it.
